Nana Atokatha Aba Mbiriwa was coronated in August 2023 and is now ordained as the Amononi Hemaa, Queen Mother for all foreign nations under the Stool of the Honorable Nana Abor Atta, II, Chief of Gomoa Fetteh Stool Land in the Central Region of Ghana! NanaĆ¢’s now late father-in-law was Nana Abor Atta, I, and she is married to Nana Richard Kweku Bredu. She now carries the honor of being the first Amononi Hemaa for Gomoa and represents the Chief Nana Abor Atta, II in all foreign lands. In the States, she now uses the name Nana Atokatha (or simply Nana). A long-time explorer of family history, she continues to bridge the gap across the Atlantic Ocean for all in those in the African diaspora who keep to visit Gomoa Fetteh.

Her Royal stool is located in Gomoa Fetteh and she represents the Ashmond House, a Royal family that is part of the Twidan Clan. Her early objectives include sharing information about Gomoa Fetteh to all nations where the African diaspora is present and supporting the development and educational needs of Gomoa Fetteh peoples at the direction of the Chief. 

Her area of training is marketing and communication expert. Nana has over 20 years of experience designing, implementing and promoting data-driven marketing best practices across the full range of marketing and communications for nonprofit and for-profit organizations.

The former CEO of Brandbuilder, a full services communication and marketing firm, she has led consultants who are focused on vision and mission mapping, strategic communication, branding and marketing projects management. Nana is a 10-year columnist for Minority Business Entrepreneur magazine; co-author of two small business publications, Seen and Sustained and The Balancing Act; an international speaker; and adjunct professor.
