Grand Origin was born from a deep love for family history, genealogy, archaeology, and the interconnectedness of cultures across the world. We believe that every family, no matter where its story begins, carries a legacy worth remembering. Our mission is to make the process of exploring, preserving, and passing on those legacies accessible and meaningful for all.
What began as one family’s effort to document its history has grown into a grassroots movement for learning, storytelling, and cultural exchange. Today, Grand Origin is building a growing network of learners, family historians, and heritage advocates who are passionate about connecting people through shared human stories.
Through our developing programs, partnerships, and The Family Record podcast, we are laying the foundation for something lasting: a space where anyone can explore their ancestry, strengthen their identity, and contribute to a global conversation about belonging and legacy.

The Amononi Hemaa serves as a vital link between Grand Origin’s mission and the heritage of Gomoa Fetteh, Ghana. Coronated in August 2023, the Amononi Hemaa represents Gomoa Fetteh’s royal lineage among the nations and works alongside Grand Origin to strengthen cross-cultural connections.
Together, they support grassroots efforts that honor ancestry and empower the next generation through education, healthcare, and cultural preservation. These initiatives begin in Gomoa Fetteh and extend outward, connecting communities across the Atlantic and beyond.
